National Volunteer Week: Spotlight Jonathan Granados
Two Paws up to Jonathan Granados!
Jonathan has been volunteering with AHS for nine years and serving among our Docent team since 2012.
Jonathan has focused primarily on dog adoptions at both our Sunnyslope Campus and Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion. He is also a wiz at special projects, namely helping Volunteer Engagement to present their volunteer dog handling classes, and more recently, by being the lead docent on our Tails and Trails guided hikes.
What does Jonathan bring to the table? It’s obvious! His smile, his enthusiasm, a desire to help others learn, and a gentleness and flexibility that make him stand out in the crowd. And he’s getting the next generation into the act by bringing his daughter Skylar to the shelter to visit several times a year.
Thank you, Jonathan, for your service and for your spirit!
