VIDEO: Puppy Rescued from Storm Drain Finds New Home
Cold and alone, little 10-week-old Tanner was found cowering under cobwebs in the corner of a storm drain by the Tempe Police Department on December 28th. The adorable Pointer puppy was scared and hungry when Tempe PD brought him to the Arizona Humane Society’s Second Chance Animal Hospital™, but otherwise in good health.
After we cleaned Tanner up, gave him some nutritious food to fill his little belly and neutered Tanner, he was ready to hit the adoption floor and find a loving family. It didn’t take Tanner long to find his happy ending as he was adopted New Year’s Eve day, just in time to ring in the new year in a new home.
Watch Tanner head home for the holidays in this Fox 10 news clip.
