Sunnyslope Dog Kennels Get Extreme Makeover
Extreme Makeover: Shelter Edition was an extreme success! Our Sunnyslope dog kennel renovations are almost complete and our dogs love their new digs. The 56-year-old kennels were in dire need of a facelift, and our pets are now enjoying the following improvements:
• New kennel entry doors (both inside and outside)
• New vertical-sliding doggy doors
• New aluminum side grating
• Fresh paint in both kennels and surrounding building areas
• New piping to supply drinking water
• Repair work in masonry around kennels
These fantastic kennel upgrades were funded by an amazing donation made in memory of animal-lover and longtime AHS supporter Mary J. Leader. Thanks to Mary and her family, whose generous support continues to make a true impact in the lives of our animals.
