January is National Train Your Dog Month!
AHS is Offering 20% Off Dog Training Classes All Month Long With the Discount Code “SITFOR20”
Are you looking for tips on how to best care for your furry friend? Our dog training classes offer everything you need to help build a loving relationship with your four-legged family member!
Basic, intermediate, and advanced classes are available at both Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion and Sunnyslope Campus for dogs and puppies. Our four-week classes, taught by certified trainers, are limited in size to give you and your pet the attention you need to learn. You and your dog can learn things like sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking, and more. Pet parents enrolled in AHS’ dog training courses will receive discounted private lessons as well as additional, free “after school” one-on-one time with our trainers to perfect harder-to-learn skills!
Here are some of our favorite pieces of training advice from our trainers:
- Dog toys and how to use them
- Training your dog or cat with treats and praise
- Making your dog part of the family
The most important part of training your dog is knowing when it’s time to call a professional. Register today to turn your dog into the best behaved pet on the block! For more information, please email dogtraining@azhumane.org.
