FOX 10: Fox Hound Rescued by EAMTs, Needs to be Rescued by Family
Written by: Arizona Humane Society
News Highlights:
Cinnamon Sugar, a 4-year-old Fox Hound mix, was rescued by our EAMTs™ after she was abandoned in a backyard. She was tethered with a very tight collar, mold was found in her water dish, and she was terribly emaciated.
Unfortunately, when our Second Chance Animal Trauma Hospital™ team treated her upon arrival, they found that Cinnamon Sugar had a severe case of Valley Fever, which was attacking her pelvic bones and causing her to have a hard time getting up and walking around. Our hope is that with time and medication (such as an anti-fungal medication), she will progressively get better. Because of her medical disposition, Cinnamon Sugar’s adoption fee will be waived.
We are happy to report that just hours after this segment aired, Cinnamon Sugar was rescued by a wonderful family!
