Evacuations Lifted at Cedar Fire, Disaster Team Heading Home
Pre-evacuations have been lifted at the Cedar Fire, allowing displaced families to return to their homes.
Our disaster relief team is now heading back to Phoenix after spending the past week evacuating, sheltering and caring for pets who had been displaced by the fire. Pets like Forest, who was found behind the fire lines by our Emergency Animal Medical Technicians™, and Tracker and Eleana, a pair of dog and cat buddies rescued from the same home.
Thank you to everyone who helped support our disaster relief efforts and those pets affected by the fire. We couldn’t help care for pets in need without your kindness and generosity.
