AHS Combats Pet Overpopulation with 500 Free Spay/Neuter Vouchers

Free Spay/Neuter Vouchers to kickoff World Spay Day
The Arizona Humane Society continued its fight against pet overpopulation by handing out 500 free spay/neuter vouchers during our 3rd annual World Spay Day kickoff event on February 3rd at Tempe Marketplace.
The free vouchers were given away courtesy of AHS’ Circle of Friends to responsible pet owners looking to make a difference in a community wide epidemic that results in tens of thousands of animals entering Valley shelters every year. Sadly, only half find their forever homes.
Spaying and neutering is the most effective way to reduce the number of homeless pets in our community and also offers the best protection against several serious health issues and the establishment of negative behaviors.
Couldn’t make it out to Tempe Marketplace? No problem! Take advantage of several other free or low-cost spay/neuter opportunities throughout the month of February. Learn more here!
