15 Pets Go Home; AHS Wraps Up Yarnell Shelter Efforts
It was a wonderful day in Wickenburg Tuesday as 15 pets who had been displaced by the Yarnell Hill Fire went home.
With the American Red Cross set to shut down its disaster shelter Wednesday at noon, the Arizona Humane Society is also closing its temporary shelter. We have transferred the five remaining dogs whose owners still needed a little more time into the care of the Wickenburg Humane Society.
Thank you to all of those who helped support both AHS and the pets and people who were affected by the fire. We couldn’t save lives without your help.
