Lost a Pet?
We know that sinking feeling that comes with discovering your furry best friend is missing. The sooner you begin your search, the better your chances of being reunited with your lost pet. Here are some steps you can take both inside and outside your neighborhood to help improve your chances of finding them.
First, See Maricopa County’s Lost Pet Map
When a stray pet with no identification is turned in to Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, they add them to their interactive map.
Other rescue organizations (like the Arizona Humane Society!) and Good Samaritans are also able to post found pets on this map, so first look to see if your pet has been found in any of the listings. To view the interactive map, click on the “access map” link below. If you don’t see your pet, use the “Report a Pet” button in the top right of their map to report your missing pet so others can contact you if they find them.
