$0 Adoption Fees During Two-Day Summer Adoption Blitz – July 7-8

As the Arizona Humane Society continues to operate well beyond capacity, we want to give interested adopters another opportunity to find their fur-ever friends! That’s why from July 7-8, 2023, both AHS’ Nina Mason Pulliam South Mountain Campus and PetSmart Scottsdale locations will be hosting $0 adoption fees for all pets.

The days following the Fourth of July are some of the busiest days of the year for shelters across the country, as many pets end up wandering away from home after being frightened by fireworks. More animals go missing around and on the Fourth of July than any other holiday, making it critical for AHS to ensure that adequate space is available to take in the pets that need us most.

We’ve got well over 200 cats, canines and critters eagerly awaiting adoption, and that doesn’t include the dozens of additional animals receiving critical care in AHS’ trauma hospital and Foster Hero homes. As the nationwide capacity crisis continues, now is the time to take full advantage of our waived adoption fees and help AHS keep kennels open!

• Lasts only July 7-8, 2023

All AHS pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and adopters will take home a starter kit of Hill’s Science Diet food. AHS’ 100% Adoption Guarantee means that if an adopted pet is not a great fit for a family, the pet can be returned to our shelter for any reason, throughout their entire life.
