Dogs and Cats 1 Year and Older 50% Off at PetSmart Scottsdale

Every year, 6.2 million pets enter shelters, and today many across the nation are overflowing. The Arizona Humane Society is proud to partner with PetSmart Charities in support of PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week by taking 50% off of the adoption fees for all adult dogs and cats at our PetSmart Scottsdale location (Miller/Camelback). The special will only last November 6-12, so hurry in and meet your new best friend!

According to PetSmart, while puppies enjoy a 60% adoption rate, older dogs’ rates lag behind at just 25%. PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week in November coincides with National Adopt a Senior Pet Month. Older pets are often overlooked because of potential future health risks and concerns about ingrained behaviors. But just like people, pets age differently.
