Enjoy Take-Out for a Cause!
The Arizona Humane Society has thousands of life-saving reasons to order takeout this Thursday, July 23rd with its Doggie Bag Dine Out event, where dozens of Valley restaurants are donating a portion of their takeout proceeds to help AHS’ homeless pets. There has never been a better reason to support Valley restaurants while also helping a great cause!
AHS is teaming up with more than 50 restaurant locations across the Valley (including a few in Flagstaff) to help our community’s most vulnerable animals. When you order your favorite meal for takeout at one of AHS’ participating Doggie Bag Dine Out restaurants, a portion of your check will go towards helping AHS provide food, shelter and lifesaving medical care to the nearly 18,000 sick, injured and abused pets it saves each year. Those interested can start their day off with breakfast from restaurants likes
Scramble,
Daily Dose or
Over Easy before working their way to a delicious lunch at
Lucky Lou’s American Grill or
Corleone’s Philly Steaks prior to finishing off the day with
North Mountain Brewing or
Uncle Bear's.
As a nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other animal welfare organizations and does not receive government funding, AHS relies on donations to help care for the sick, injured and abused pets that truly have nowhere else to go. The average cost of care per animal AHS takes in is more than $1,000 and events like this help offset those costs while also helping local businesses during the pandemic.
