All Pets 1 Year and Older Free to Adopt November 15-19

Written by: Arizona Humane Society
Thanks to the BISSELL Pet Foundation, ALL pets 1 year and older at both adoption locations will be free November 15-19!

As the Arizona Humane Society continues to face the busiest year and highest capacity numbers we’ve seen in nearly a decade, there truly is no better time to give a home to a furry friend in need. That’s why, with support from the BISSELL Pet Foundation, AHS will be waiving be the adoption fees of all pets 1 year and older November 15-19! Both our Nina Mason Pulliam South Mountain Campus and PetSmart Scottsdale (Miller/Camelback) locations will be participating.

Consider dropping by to meet one of our long-timers who would love for someone to take a chance on them. One such pet is our sweetheart Pinta, who has been with AHS for over a month.

newborn kittens outside The 4-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier was surrendered to AHS along with her two other siblings due to issues with her previous owner’s landlord and is now the last of her original family members to remain in the shelter. While she is shy at first with new people, we promise she quickly warms up once treats and chin scratches are involved!

Because of her sweet and social demeanor, Pinta has had many interested adopters, but ultimately no one has decided to take her home. If she sounds like the girl for you, come on down to our South Mountain Campus to meet her. Feel free to spend some time meeting our many other adoptable pets while you’re at it!

Event details:

  • $0 adoption fees for all dogs and cats 1 year and older
  • At our Nina Mason Pulliam South Mountain campus and PetSmart Scottsdale (Miller/Camelback) adoption locations
  • Taking place November 15-19
  • All pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Adopters will also take home a starter kit of Hill’s Science Diet food.
