Adopt Your New Furry Family Member for Just $50

Cancel your weekend plans because you’re bringing home a new family member! This week, September 6-10, 2023, adoption fees for all pets will be just $50 thanks to the Empty the Shelters event held in partnership with the Arizona Humane Society and the BISSELL Pet Foundation.

During the event, the $50 adoption fee will apply to all dogs and cats of all sizes and ages at both our Nina Mason Pulliam South Mountain Campus and PetSmart Scottsdale location (Miller/Camelback). You can even take a look at the numerous pets currently available for adoption at AHS ahead of time by visiting azhumane.org/adopt.

Even though double-digit temperatures may finally be on the horizon doesn’t mean that we aren’t still reeling from the busiest summer AHS has seen in decades. When one kennel is opened, another is filled with a sick, injured, abused or homeless pet that desperately needs to find their forever home, and $50 is a small price to pay to make that happen.

Event details:

• $50 adoption fees for ALL dog and cats of ALL ages
• Both our South Mountain Campus and PetSmart Scottsdale (Miller/Camelback) adoption locations
• All pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Adopters will take home a starter kit of Hill’s Science Diet food. AHS’ 100% Adoption Guarantee means that if an adopted pet is not a great fit for a family, the pet can be returned to our shelter for any reason, throughout their entire life.
