$20 Spay/Neuter Surgeries During February!

World Spay Day is February 28th, and thanks to our Circle of Friends, the Arizona Humane Society is offering $20 spay & neuter surgeries all throughout the month of February! That’s right, from February 1^st – 28^th select Phoenix residents can get their pup or cat spayed or neutered for just $20. To qualify, you must reside in one of the following zip codes:

AHS’ Circle of Friends are passionate donors who work on behalf of our pets to raise funds specifically for spay and neuter initiatives. Why Spay?

• Spaying helps prevent serious medical conditions in female cats and dogs, such as uterine infections, uterine/ovarian cancer and breast cancer.
• It’s also far less expensive than the cost of treating an infection, having an emergency C-section, treating cancer or raising a litter of puppies or kittens.

Why Neuter?

• Neutering helps prevent serious medical conditions in male cats and dogs, such as testicular cancer.
• It also often has a positive effect on pet’s behavior.
• Neutering makes a pet less likely to mark his territory or spray urine throughout the house, and it tends to make a pet less aggressive and less likely to roam.
